Client Critiques
It's non-stick, hard-anodized, has glass lids, remain-cool handles, oven safe, and dishwasher safe! That's a challenging combination to obtain, specially the dishwasher safe element with the non-stick interior and tough-anodized exterior. This set was bought as a gift for someone with a ceramic/glass cooktop, and she says it functions nicely on that surface. No concerns with throwing them in the dishwasher, no problems with the non-stick surface. And they are lovely to look at and use, too. The only factor to note is that the handles on the cookware do remain cool, but the handles on the lids do not, so you will have to have potholders when you lift the lids off.
I bought these mainly for the truth that they are the hard-anodized sort and dishwasher secure too. Also for the truth that metal utensils can be put to use in them, considering my son forgets with other non-stick cookware. I just fried 2 eggs in the tiny 8" open skillet with out any oil on medium to medium high heat. They slid correct out of the pan effortlessly and are cooked perfectly. By the way the saute pan lid will fit over the larger open skillet perfectly, and I did use the bigger pan lid to cook my eggs in the little open skillet. That lid does not fit the smaller skillet perfectly, but it did work.
Only factor I did not like when I opened them is that there is a seam in the metal rims on the lids which shows. This is minor, but I wish they had created them with no the seam getting visible.
